Stonebright is imagined as a small, careful ground-level cleaning service. Each surface has one illustrative sample rate, and the estimator shows exactly how it is applied to your measurements.

No. 01

Concrete

Poured or precast concrete driveways, paths and patios at ground level.

  • Sample rate: £3.25 per , applied to the exact area you measure.
  • One controlled cleaning pass, planned around where the water drains.
  • Cracked or lifting slabs of concrete, and oil or fuel stains, are looked at on a visit first.

Example: a driveway of 8 m by 5 m (40 ), ordinary soiling. Sample total £130, indicative range £120 to £150.

Block paving

Concrete or clay blocks laid with sand-filled joints, including herringbone and basketweave driveways.

  • Sample rate: £4.25 per .
  • Optional joint-sand allowance: £1.50 per , offered for block paving only. It is a sample allowance; whether re-sanding suits your paving is assessed on site.
  • Loose or sunken blocks are looked at first, because cleaning can disturb them.

Example: a driveway of 6 m by 4 m (24 ), ordinary soiling, with the joint-sand allowance. Sample total £138, indicative range £120 to £160.

Paving slabs and hard stone

Sound slabs or hard-wearing stone that you know suits pressure cleaning.

  • Sample rate: £4.75 per .
  • Soft or delicate stone, and anything you are unsure about, becomes an assessment brief rather than a figure.
  • Pointing that is crumbling or missing is checked on a visit.

Example: a patio of 6 m by 5 m (30 ), heavy soiling. Sample total £171, indicative range £145 to £200.

Adjustments

How the sample sums are adjusted.

  • Heavy soiling

    Heavy soiling adds 20% to the cleaning lines only, never to the joint-sand allowance or the minimum.

  • Joint-sand allowance

    The joint-sand allowance is a sample allowance for block paving only. Whether re-sanding suits your paving is assessed on site. Sample allowance: £1.50 per .

  • Minimum per job

    A £120 minimum applies once to the whole job, after everything else is added.

  • Indicative range

    The indicative range runs 15% either side of the sample total, rounded outward to the nearest £5, and never starts below the £120 minimum.
